History of the Cheeseman Corporation
The CheeseMan Corporation began in the garage of founder Hassan Ghassemieh in 1983. A year later his brother
Hossein joined him. Together, they have worked to build one of the leading food service distributors in
Washington. The CheeseMan's simple formula for success throughout the years has been its dedication to
achieving the highest levels of customer satisfaction.
The strategy from the beginning has been to specialize
in pizza, pasta, and deli-style restaurants, which allows us to deliver high quality products at competitive
prices. In 1996 we took a huge step towards helping our customers achieve their goals for success when we
joined the Bellissimo family. Bellissimo is a unique marketing group of close to thirty independent food
service distributors, which combined, make up the largest Italian Food Distribution Network in the country.
Our involvement in Bellissimo coupled with the strong relationships we have with our valued customers and
vendors has helped us get where we are today. Our simple formula for continued customer satisfaction ensures
a promising future for The CheeseMan Corporation and all its partners.
